PN Coal Lithgow Depot: STAND DOWNS ON HOLD
This morning after preliminary discussions with Pacific National Coal NSW management, Pacific National has now agreed to hold off on Standing Down their Lithgow employees to allow the dispute settlement process to proceed.
A meeting is scheduled between Pacific National senior management and the RTBU on Thursday 19 November at 1pm in an attempt to resolve the matter.
As outlined in yesterday’s Newsletter, the RTBU believes any stand down under the circumstances proposed by PN is not legal, and you can be assured the RTBU Locomotive Division is doing everything possible to ensure Pacific National is held to account, and do what we believe they are legally required to do.
Members will be informed of progress after tomorrow’s meeting.
