Members will recall your union’s fight to get a Majority Support Determination issued by the Fair Work Commission, despite strong resistance from Trojan at the time.

Now that new employees have had time to see Trojan’s true colours, it’s time to conduct another petition to force Trojan to the table. Trojan is now the only labour hire company in NSW train operations that has refused to negotiate an enterprise agreement.

Besides rates of pay well below industry standards; Trojan members have complained of contracts being issued that do not reflect the NES, having to work for sixteen weeks before being paid any overtime, and not receiving other industry allowances.

The only way to fix these issues is by way of a union negotiated enterprise agreement. Please distribute this newsletter and the attached flyer to all your Trojan colleagues.
