Visit the SMH: Almost half of voters not convinced their journey to work will improve
“Almost half of voters do not think NSW’s multibillion-dollar investment in transport will improve their commute, a new Herald poll shows as the government revealed its 40-year transport vision.
The ReachTEL poll asked 1521 people across NSW whether they felt the government’s major transport projects, which include the CBD light rail and Sydney Metro, would speed up their journey to work.
Just over 44 per cent of those polled did not believe their commute would improve, 28.3 per cent believed it would and 27.6 per cent were undecided.”
