PN Victoria EA signed off
The RTBU and PN have now finished negotiations on the new PN Victoria EA and the EA was presented to all employees on October 26 and 27 through emails and depot distribution.
Depot tours by delegates to explain all changes from the previous EA started from the November 6 and went through to November 15.
Of the 134 employees across Victoria and NSW, 119 voted, with 72 voting yes, and 47 no, which represents a figure of 61 per cent in favour of the new EA.
The agreement will now go to FWA for approval. Once it’s approved backpay to January 1, 2011 will commence.
Some of the details of the new EA are:
A three-year term finishing on December 31, 2013.
A 5 per cent increase for each year.
Roll up of allowances + Aggregate Rate + Base Rate will form a new Base Rate.
This Base Rate applies to all leave, overtime and super.
$1,000 fasting payment increased with remuneration increases.
