PN COAL, HSR ELECTIONS (HUNTER WHS COMMITTEE)

Members would have recently been advised by management that elections are under way for your Health and Safety Representatives. (HSR’s) These roles play a very important role in your safety conditions at your workplace. HSR’s are the people that have the legal authority to challenge management on your behalf for safety related matters.

WE URGE ALL MEMBERS TO VOTE AND VOTE BEFORE 10^th APRIL.

See your supervisor for voting information.

Where your local union delegate has nominated for HSR we urge you to support his / her nomination first as they are your representatives and will be well informed regarding all issues at your depot / area, and in most circumstances, will already be trained and ready to represent your safety.
