PN BULK NSW ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2027

Oct 14, 2026Update

Detail Missing

Members would have now seen Pacific Nationals latest update. It was disappointing, but sadly not surprising to see that PN only provided half the detail.

As previously reported, the RTBU had written to PN with a serious proposal to progress the negotiation. At that time no further meetings were confirmed. Pacific National had advised they would consider our proposal and respond before further meetings were confirmed.

Pacific National took a week to provide a four-paragraph letter rejecting our proposal and again rejecting to pay for delegate travel and accommodation. All the other Operators pay, why does PN expect the RTBU to use members money to fulfil their obligations?
For a company that claims that Caring and Sharing is in their PNA, they sure have a way of showing it. It again proves management are more about spin than substance.

The RTBU requested the meeting be cancelled only because of PN’s late request.PN told the delegates if they are to be released, they must accept a calendar invite 10 days out yet sent the invite with only 7 days’ notice. Once again PN management hold themselves to a lesser standard than they expect from employees.

The RTBU today wrote to PN requesting they release your depot delegates to participate in workplace relations training on the 4th to 6th November so as to give delegates the opportunity to better understand the bargain process and assist members to finalise your log of claims. One would hope that there are no hurdles placed in the way of this request.

PN have scheduled the next EA meetings on 27th and 28th October. Again, by Teams and again refusing to pay for travel or accommodation.
