International Day of Mourning 2021 – Online Service

Dear Members,
Please see below a message from Unions NSW regarding an online service for the International Day of Mourning 2021.
Dear Comrades,
The International Day of Mourning is an important day for those who have lost loved ones to work-related incidents or illness. Together we remember and commemorate their lives and share their memories.
To provide everyone in NSW with the opportunity to attend and to ensure we’re COVID safe, we will be commemorating the 2021 International Day of Mourning online.
Please RSVP here for a text message before the service starts: https://actionnetwork.org/events/international-day-of-mourning-service-2021
We would like you to join the families and their friends to our online service at 11.55am (for a 12pm start) on Wednesday, 28 April 2021 via the International Day of Mourning website at: idm2021.com.au
The thirty-minute service will contain messages from Unions NSW, members of the NSW Parliament, religious representatives and representatives from family members who have lost a loved one.
You will be able to interact and offer your condolences during the online service. The platform which we will be using will allow you to post your message on the day.
Standard captioning will be available during the service. Please let Mary know if you have any other accessibility requirements by 19 April.
On behalf of Unions NSW
