Gold Coast railway: new train station designs revealed

Two new railway stations are to be built in the Gold Coast as an expansion to the heavy rail line at Pimpama.

The location of the stations have been determined according to demand from commuters, environmental concerns and feasibility.

The stations are said to cost $120 million and be built by 2024 with construction starting in 2021.

With a growing population on the Gold Coast, both stations are a welcome addition for staff and commuters.
