Aurizon Bulk EA Update 6

After an extended pause by Aurizon Management, we can now confirm Aurizon have agreed to release some of your delegates to attend a workshop next week at our Sydney Office. 

The workshop will be for RTBU Officials and delegates to take time and review the previous log of claims, Aurizon’s last EA offer and also consider any issues that have arisen since the intermodal / container unit has started employing people. 

By bringing delegates together and workshopping the issues we hope to be able to return to the table with a clearer path forward so that the parties can better see each other’s concerns and work towards resolution. We will keep you posted. 

We would also like to take this opportunity to encourage all new Intermodal / container employees who have changed their employer and not yet changed their details to send this information through as soon as possible. (See attached form for doing so). 

Unity is strength, to get an EA that you can be satisfied with will require this. We urge those who are not yet members to join and be part of our mighty RTBU Locomotive Division.
