A new room for NSW Trains drivers at Eveleigh

After 18 months of negotiations by both the Regional and Intercity delegates, NSW Trains’ shed drivers have finally gotten their own room at Eveleigh.

For years we have either had to share cramped facilities with the shunters or use the general train crew meal room where sometimes you were struggling to find a seat. We now have a secure area to leave our personal belongings.

Further negotiations with management led to the supply of a lounge and a better sized fridge to what was originally supplied. Tea and coffee are also being supplied.
