Thought the Coalition managed the economy best? Think again

New research shows that the Abbott/Turnbull governments may not be the great economic managers they claim to be.

Research by the Australia Institute, which looks at a broad range of economic measures, actually shows the Abbott/Turnbull government has performed the worst of any Australian government since the Menzies era.

The research is in stark contrast to the public perception of which party – ALP or Liberal – is better at managing our economy.
