Strike action for Aurizon inaction

Your RTBU team gave Aurizon management an opportunity to resolve the outstanding issues and move forward with a new Enterprise Agreement but we were unable to reach agreement and the Company representatives walked out of discussions leaving the notified protected industrial action to continue.

Notice of the following actions has been sent to Aurizon:

1. Twenty-Four (24) Hour stoppage of work by RTBU members covered by the Order, from 06.00 am Saturday 25th August 2018 to 06.00 am Sunday 26th August 2018. This means you do not work at all during that time.
2. Twenty-Four (24) Hour stoppage of work by RTBU members covered by the Order, from 08.00 am Sunday 26th August 2018 to 08.00 am Monday 27th August 2018. This means you do not work at all during that time.

Only RTBU members covered by the Aurizon NSW Coal Operations Enterprise Agreement 2014 can participate.

If management tries to force you to work, contact your delegate asap.
