WA comrade needs our help
WA Loco Division member, Kevin “Paddy” Doherty, 42, is fighting for his life in a Perth Hospital, after a horror crash on an Esperance farm.
His friend, Adrian Nichols, 41, died when the farm ute they were in rolled and burst into flames on the weekend. Paddy was flown to hospital with burns to around 80 per cent of his body.
Colleagues of the Aurizon driver, who is based at the Esperance depot, have set up a fundraising page to help Paddy’s family during this difficult time and to assist with his hopeful recovery.
The accident is not covered by insurance and his medical needs will be substantial.
The NSW Loco Division is keeping Paddy, his young family and his workmates in their thoughts at this incredibly difficult time.
If you would like to make a donation to the fundraising page his colleagues have set up, it would be greatly appreciated – https://www.gofundme.com/yjz2rv58
Paddy remains in a critical condition at the moment. We will endeavour to keep you updated on his progress.
