Urgent call for submissions – Government Review of Workers Compensation Cuts

The NSW Government has finally opened a Review of the workers compensation changes that cut the rights of thousands of injured workers almost two years ago.

The Government has only put aside a few weeks to assess the impact of the workers compensation cuts and it’s important that they hear the workers side of the story.

Follow this link http://www.australianunions.org.au/workers_compensation_review to submit your experiences to the Review. Your submission will remain anonymous, unless you give express permission for it to be published. Submissions close 31 May 2014.

You may have also recently completed the Unions NSW workers compensation survey. These responses will be compiled and also submitted to the Review, but it is important that the Government inquiry receive as many direct responses from injured workers as possible.
