SMH: NSW government bows to pressure over length of Bankstown rail closures

The NSW Government has bowed to pressure from workers and the public and announced it will not be going ahead with the 6 week stoppages on the Bankstown line while the metro changes are being made. There’s no news yet as to what the new plan is….

This just further highlights want a shambles this metro project is.  Workers and commuters are going to suffer every step of the way.
