Secretary’s wrap

The year is coming to an end but things aren’t winding down here at the Loco Division: we’ve been busy as ever with the BBQ depot tour, ongoing Sydney Trains reform talks and planning for EA negotiations with Pacific National. We’re also working to hold PN to account for recent increased reports of shift breaches – please help by reporting any breaches you experience.

Ongoing NIF discussions will also continue into the new year, and it looks like 2017 is shaping up to be one of the Division’s busiest years yet. The majority of members are facing attacks from employers, whether that be via EA negotiations, ongoing reform and/or companies trying to take advantage of the political and industrial environment to kick their employees. We’ll need to stand together stronger than ever to protect our rights and conditions.
