Secretary’s wrap

Despite fortnightly reform discussions having now resumed with Sydney Trains, we are yet to recieve anything of substance.

We’ve made some small progress and identified a few items which appear to no longer be in contention, and you can read about these in the latest newsflash (below).

However, until we recieve a full, detailed proposal from Sydney Trains we are can’t begin to properly assess the impacts on members.

Our position has not changed since we submitted a detailed proposal earlier this year – a proposal developed by our delegates and endorsed by members.

A full delegates meeting will occur when anything of substance and consistent with our package has been produced by Sydney Trains. In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated through our newsflashes and the Loco website.

Remember, unless you see it in writing from the union, it’s probably a rumor.
