Secretary’s wrap

It’s been a long time coming, but we’re finally nearing agreement on the QUBE enterprise agreement.

We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but with the exception of a few clauses which will hopefully be agreed upon very shortly, the union negotiating team is almost in a position to say an agreement that delivers fair wages and conditions is here. Stay tuned for more info on that one.

Also, news just in is that PN has announced job cuts from its Coal and Bulk business areas. This is obviously incredibly disappointing and the Loco Division will be doing everything we can to support members at affected depots. Stay tuned for more on this.
