RTBU response to Rail Safety Regulations

The RTBU has released its response to the Rail Safety Regulation amendments.

The union has long held concerns that the developments of these new safety laws has been undermined by compromises on safety which could have a detrimental effect on the general public as well as rail workers.

For that reason, the RTBU will not endorse any changes to the national regulatory framework which waters down a range of requirements designed to promote rail safety.
