RTBU elections – slight changes

The Fair Work Commission has issued an amendment to its original Election Notice for RTBU positions. See the amendment here.

The correction has been issued by the FWC because the positions which cover Workplace Organisers are not elected by the AEC, but rather a election is conducted by the Locomotive Division at a local level within 2 months following the declaration of the AEC held Election.

They were included in the previous Election Notice by mistake and as such the Loco Division were required to seek a formal Decision from the FWC correcting the mistake.
