Rail Entities talks continue

Forced redundancies and salary maintenance are among the key issues being discussed during ongoing negotiations between Rail Entities and the Combined Rail Unions.

Regular meetings have been held between the two parties over the past weeks to discuss the outstanding issues. Conciliation conferences have also been held at the Fair Work Commission.

The Combined Rail Unions will hold a planning day on the 18th June to consider the progress of negotiations to date before a full report back to delegates at a delegates conference being planned for the 24th. The recommendations form the delegates conference will be put to members at meetings beginning at the end of this month.
