Porta-loos on the Locos?

Last week the Loco Division met with GM Aurizon Coal to discuss their recent proposal to replace the toilets on the locomotives with portable toilets, similar to camping toilets.

The move is designed to save money on repair costs, but the Loco Division is furious that cost cutting has been put ahead of the needs of members.

The Division argued the move is a disgraceful attempt by an employer to introduce substandard equipment and facilities at the expense of their employees. Stay tuned for more on this.
