ONE RAIL COAL EA – Meeting 4

Today, 19 January 2023, negotiations continued regarding the replacement Enterprise Agreement for One Rail Australia (ORA) Coal Operations (NSW).

The parties discussed all claims, with the intention of prioritising claims and/or providing more details about their claims where possible. Both parties provided draft clauses and terms that they were interested in having amended or inserted into the agreement.

ORA provided detail of the claims for which they hold strong concerns, as did the RTBU in relation to ORA’s log.

It was agreed by those present that, moving forward, draft clauses would be inserted into a draft replacement EA that the bargaining team would then work from at the next meeting.

The next meeting is scheduled over two days on 8 and 9 February 2023.
