ONE RAIL AUSTRALIA COAL – NEW EA APPROVED 

Today, we received notification from the Fair Work Commission that your new enterprise agreement has been approved. It will come into force 0001 next Wednesday 9th August 2023. This is great news, as it will expedite a much-deserved pay rise. 

Members will receive a 7% pay increase, from today which will be paid at the end of the next full pay cycle on or around 23rd / 24th August 2023. Back pay from this fortnight will be included in that payment. 

Members should familiarize themselves with the new agreement and the changes it contains. A copy of the agreement is attached for members’ convenience. Please speak to your local delegates if you have any questions. 

If you would like to get involved in the next steps regarding the roster implementation and you haven’t already done so, you should consider nominate for the RTBU Locomotive Division Depot Committee and or the ERC committee. 

Congratulations again for the solidarity you all have shown in being able to achieve a new agreement that will bring strong benefits for all as its implementation is realised.
