NSW Trains tries to introduce new timesheets…again

NSW Trains has been caught out yet again trying to implement new drivers timesheets at the Sydney Depot. The timesheets have had columns removed that allowed for the claiming of various driver related entitlements (for example, dust allowance etc).

Members are advised that, once again, no consultation with the Loco Division has occurred regarding any changes to the format of drivers’ timesheets. This is not the first attempt to implement these changes – members will recall a similar attempt by Sydney Trains several months ago which was promptly disputed and resolved with the original timesheets being reinstated.

This attempt is of course being disputed as well and it is only through the vigilance of the membership that management’s attempts to bypass the consultative process of the EA have been thwarted yet again.
