Newcastle office re-opened following makeover

The Newcastle Office of the RTBU was officially re-opened by the State Opposition Leader Mr John Robertson and Local Member Ms Sonia Hornery on the 31st March 2014. 

The re-opening followed the completion of renovations of the building late last year and was held in conjunction with an Open Day.

As well as enjoying a sausage sizzle and some fine food, members attending the event also got the opportunity to rub shoulders with the dignitaries, including other special guests such as the current RTBU NSW Branch Secretary Alex Claassens, his PA Donna Thompson, Assistant Branch Secretary Dave Woollams the retired Branch Secretary Mr Nick Lewocki, retired Assistant Secretary / Northern Organiser Mr Michael Schmitzer, the retired Newcastle Office Secretary Margaret Schmitzer, the current Newcastle Office Co-ordinator Margaret Mahon, Retired Organiser Bob Mahon, Current Organiser Steve Wright, Bus officials Chris Preston, Garry Way, Kelly Budden & Brett Peters, Admin rep Greg Cameron, and delegates and members from Newcastle Area.
