Near-accident during driverless trains trial in India

Two Delhi Metro driverless trains ran onto the same track during a trial run in India. The Indian Express reports that the accident was narrowly averted but an inquiry will look into what was responsible for causing the incident.

This is just another example of what can go wrong when you take drivers and crew out of the equation – the technology can’t be trusted and accidents do happen.
