Know your rights at management meetings
Members who are required to attend meetings or interviews with management should be aware of their right to have a representative or support person with them at all times. This covers meetings with a supervisor, a superintendent, Human Resources or a manager.
A representative or support person can take precise notes of the meeting and be a witness to what is said or done. These measures can ensure that members rights are protected.
A copy of the minutes or notes should be provided to all attendees of the meeting shortly afterwards.
