Important election notice for Operations members

Note – the following information does not apply to Loco Division votes

An error in the mailing of ballot papers has resulted in Operations Division members in the Northern district receiving packs for the Metropolitan district and vice versa.

To correct this, the Australian Electoral Commission have cancelled these previous ballot packs and will issue a fresh set

If you have already voted using the cancelled ballot papers, those ballot papers will not be counted.

If you wish to vote please use the fresh ballot material you will receive from Monday onwards and destroy the previous ballot pack.

After you have completed the new ballot papers, follow the instructions and ensure that the reply envelope is mailed so that it reaches the AEC no later than 5pm on Monday, 18 March.

Please note – this only applies to the Operations Division election, not the Locomotive Division votes.
