Hot weather causing Aurizon train failures

Aurizon Coal trains have been experiencing a number of failures on the No 3 tunnel on the Ulan line in hot weather.

This is a big concern for affected members and their local delegate has approached Aurizon management to try to find a solution.

Management has now responded and has assured the union that while they are investigating the issue, they have issued instructions to the mines that they do not load the last six wagons during hot weather.
