With a number of entities now sitting under the new QUBE umbrella, the option of negotiating one national QUBE agreement is now available.
The opportunity is timely because most of the entities also have agreement expiring in 2014 including the POTA Agreement, Independent Railways of Australia, the South Spur Agreement and the Southern Silverton Agreement.
As such, Newsflashes covering all QUBE members will now be sent to members, allowing you to keep abreast of the negotiations as they occur.
The latest information to hand is that the company doesn’t want a national agreement. However, the Loco Division sees this as an important opportunity to deliver fair wages and conditions for all QUBE employees and will be fighting to ensure one national agreement is delivered.
