Garry McDean Golf Day – date change

The annual Garry McDean golf day had to be postponed due to bad weather. The classic event will now be held on Sunday 7 June at the Taree Golf Club.

The event is always a good day out and a chance to catch up with Garry’s family, including his twin brother Trevor, and share your memories of the great bloke.

Those wanting to have a hit should meet at the Taree Golf Club for a 9am tee off. It will be a teams event, but just turn up on the day and you’ll be organised into the group.

Those who prefer to stay away from the fairways can meet afterwards at the Taree Railway Bowling Club at 12pm for a drink and refreshments.

The event is free, and an important day out, so make sure you get along.
