Firing up the BBQ on the latest Loco Tour

RTBU members in western and southern NSW given the opportunity to meet with RTBU organisers, grab a snag, and provide feedback on the union’s activities as part of the Loco Tour.

Southern and western NSW depots were visited on the first leg of the tour. A tour through northern NSW is scheduled to take place in early September.

The tour is a chance for members to meet with RTBU organisers, discuss how to improve communications, talk about general day to day issues, recruitment, how EA negations are going and to obtain general feedback on how the RTBU can improve operations from its head office.

The feedback from the first leg of the Loco Tour has been very positive, so much so that plans for a similar tour next year are already underway.
