Farewell to Rick Powell

Well-known driver Rick Powell has decided to call it a day after 35 years on the rails.

Rick is widely known and respected, having worked at Enfield and Casino depots before a long period on the ETR.

In 1994 Rick took a job with the then new National Rail Corporation and spent a number of years at the Sydney Freight Terminal (Chullora). Rick’s last 14 years have been spent as a CountryLink Driver in Sydney.

The RTBU joins with many others in wishing Rick all the best for a long and happy retirement.
