EA Activist Network

Dec 6, 2013News

Over the last week, the RTBU Locomotive Division has constructed an Enterprise Agreement Activist Network/Database for the purposes of disseminating information regarding the Rail Entities EA.

The list, consisting of over 200 people – more than 10% of the membership – contains all Depot Organising Committee members (DOCs), Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs), and a carefully constructed group of ‘EA Activists’ who will all receive any and all information concerning the EA.

The intent of this activist network is to ensure that information pertaining to the EA reaches a wider range of people in order to guarantee that as many members as possible receive the correct information regarding the EA, and that this information reaches more people than ever before.

Any and all information concerning the EA will be directly emailed to every person on this list. The RTBU has also requested that those on the list further communicate with other RTBU members regarding the EA to at least five (5) more people each in order to ensure that all RTBU Locomotive Divisional members are informed and aware of what is happening with EA discussions and negotiations.

The RTBU would like to thank the Delegates and members who proactively provided names and email addresses to form this list. This list demonstrates just how organised and dedicated our members are. The quick responses to all emails and calls concerning this list further demonstrates the commitment of our members in ensuring that we are ready to actively and effectively fight for our working conditions in the face of the biggest attack on RTBU members by NSW and Sydney Trains management to date.
