Dealing with violence shouldn’t be part of the job

We know that violence on our transport systems is a serious issue throughout the state. Our recent survey of members found that 44% have been assaulted at work in recent times.

There was a potentially violent incident at the Casino Railway Station on Wednesday evening, but thanks to the brave and quick actions of local transport workers in, the situation was controlled before it got out of control.
