CountryLink members have their say

CountryLink members will have the opportunity to have their say on the current status of the Rail Entities enterprise agreement over the coming weeks.

The move comes after delegates passed a resolution at a recent delegates conference supporting a call for the RTBU to take the current offer put forth by the Rail Entities to the members.

The purpose of these meetings is to brief members on the offer (not to conduct a vote on the offer), as well as give an update as to where the negotiations are at and collaborate any feedback in preparation for the next delegates conference (to be held after all EA meetings have been held over the coming two weeks).

Mick Cartwright (Branch Organiser) from the RTBU will be doing the briefings for all CountryLink depots (excluding Werris Creek which will be done via a phone hook-up, and Sydney CountryLink which will be held at either the XPT Centre or Central Station).

If any of these times are not convenient for the drivers at your depot, please let Jessica Epps from the Loco Division office know as soon as possible so alternate arrangements can be made.
