Concerns raised over RailCorp risk management

Concerns have been raised over the way risk assessments are being conducted within RailCorp.

On some projects, there are concerns that no elected Health and Safety representative are being allowed to attend – despite it being clearly outlined in all codes of practice as well as WHS legislation, that a representative should be part of every step if the risk management process.

This is of major concern to the Loco Division and as such, clarification from the company has been sought.

The health and safety of workers should be paramount in all projects, and we will not accept anything less.
