Campbelltown retirement

Two long-term members were given a rousing farewell recently as they left their lives on the railways behind to head off to retirement.

The Campbelltown Depot hosted the farewell evening for Driver Brian Brennan and Guard Kerry Brennan who officially retired on 11th August. Brian leaves the industry after 42 years of service, the last 28 which he spent at the Campbelltown depot. Kerry leaves the industry with 8 years’ service as a Guard at Campbelltown. The evening was well attended with past and present drivers and guards who gathered to reminisce on the couple’s career and share their best wishes for their retirement.

The RTBU Locomotive Division would like to take this opportunity to farewell this couple and thank them for their long-term membership of the Union. Additionally, the Loco Division would like to wish them both a long and happy retirement.
