Aurizon negotiations moving swiftly
Negotiations for a new enterprise agreement at Aurizon Intermodal are progressing quickly, with the union negotiating team hopeful in-principle agreement could be reached by the end of the week.
Another three meetings with the company are scheduled for this week, during which time it is hoped in principle agreement can be reached on the few remaining areas the company is staying firm on, including extended shifts for drivers only and the removal of the 1800 sign off prior to annual leave.
Should in-principle agreement be reached, a copy of the EA will be distributed to members for review and then voting.
Members will be kept updated on negotiations as they progress.
