Taree retirement smoko

The Taree Railway Retirement Club held its annual smoko recently, with around 80 members – current and retired – attending.

The room was filled with the sounds of mates sharing stories from days gone by, and there was even some old memorabilia handed around for everyone to have a look at.

Dave Budden and Trevor McDean (posthumously) were the recipients of the presentations on the day, and Trevor’s nephew Paul was there to accept the honour on behalf of his late uncle.

A big thanks to everyone who came along and made the day the huge success it was.
