Freightliner EA given the nod

The new Freightliner enterprise agreement has been approved, with 73% of eligible members voting in favour of the agreement.

YES (I accept the proposed Agreement) = 56 votes

NO (I reject the proposed Agreement) = 20 votes

The parties are now in the process of formalising the required paperwork for the Fair Work Commission, after which point the enterprise agreement will officially come into place.

Members’ endorsement for the new EA comes after months of tough negotiations and the rejection of the company’s version of the EA by members last year.
