Early Rail Entities discussions held
Preliminary discussions on the 2014 Rail Entities enterprise agreement were held today.
The employer representatives outlined a long list of reasons why they believe reform needs to occur, setting the scene for what will no doubt be a tough negotiating period.
While very little detail was provided by the Sydney and NSW Trains representatives, among the areas of reform they suggested they wish to address in negotiations were maintenance productivity, train crew productivity payroll automation and adjustments necessitated by NSW government policy.
The Combined Rail Unions team has requested a full delegates meeting to discuss this information in more detail.
