QR Intermodal negotiations kick off
QR Intermodal delegates from around Australia are preparing to negotiate their next agreement, with improving rostering and overtime arrangements a top priority.
There was a strong response from members to a survey distributed by the RTBU Loco Division which has set out priorities and assisted the negotiating team in developing a log of claims.
QR Intermodal is a growing national business growing, making it important to lock in good conditions for drivers, said Freight Organiser Kevin Pryor.
The negotiating team is made up of QR Intermodal delegates Angela Jeffreys (Qld), Kevin Weedon (SA), Nick Gray (NSW), Anthony Bell (NSW), Joe Stewart (Vic), Greg Phillips (Vic) and officials from the RTBU’s NSW, Vic, SA and national offices.
The first meeting with management will be held in June.
