Call for papers finds more than 30 Transport for NSW executives are paid above the top of the pay scale for their roles
A call for papers by Labor MLC Adam Searle, reported in the Sydney Morning Herald, has found more than 30 executives in one NSW government department are being paid above the top of the pay scale for their roles.
The salary ranges and remuneration of more than 180 senior TfNSW executives were obtained following the call for papers relating to most highly paid staff at NSW government departments.
The papers reveal one executive is paid $388,000 for a role with a pay range of $233,730 to $311,599, while another earned $58,000 above the role’s salary package maximum of $354,000.
