633 years among them – retirements around the tracks

During the recent Loco Around the Tracks tour, a number of retiring members were presented with their plaques and certificates as a show of thanks for their years of dedication to the industry and the union.

“During the tour, we had the honour of presenting 17 retiring members with their plaques and certificates. Among them, they’ve got an incredible 600 years of experience,” Loco Division Secretary, Bob Hayden said.

“On behalf of the Loco Division I’d like to wish all of these retirees the very best in their next endeavours and thank you all for your service to the union and the industry over the years. You’ll all be sorely missed by your workmates. It’s a privilege to have been able to work alongside and serve such dedicated, hard-working comrades.”
