QUBE EA negotiations likely to come to another vote
With members voting down the proposed Enterprise Agreement in December last year, the RTBU and you EA Delegates met with QUBE management last week to get the ball rolling again for the new year.
This was a last ditch effort to reach an outcome agreeable to Members.
Agreement was able to be made on a number of issues that have now been amended:
- Payment for working on a public holiday
- Minimum shift payment of 6 hours for Health Assessments
- Payment for the approved use of your private vehicle
- Overtime for working a TBA day if advised outside of the Advice Periods
However, QUBE have again outrightly rejected any percentage increase to the already proposed increases within the draft Enterprise Agreement.
With QUBE deciding to power on with another vote without resolving these and other ongoing issues, we believe you should vote NO when you have to vote again.
