Taree Railway celebrates 100 years

Join the Centenary celebrations at the Taree Railway this weekend, Saturday 11^th and Sunday 12^th May.

To celebrate 100 years of rail in the Manning Valley, there will be steam train rides, stalls, memorabilia on display, a BBQ hosted by the RTBU, ’93 PN class trains, steam engines, rides for the kids and much more.

An official re-enactment train will also run on the Saturday as well as a vintage car parade.

A range of special guests are expected to turn out for the historic celebration including Tim Fisher and actor Scott McGregor.

Entertainment will take place from 8am – 5pm on Saturday and 9am – 5pm on Sunday at the Taree Train Station.
