The Loco Division has successfully gained an agreement to have members of its Divisional Council trained and made available to represent members who need support at Coaching & Development meetings required with management.

There have been several issues in regards to the application of this policy, but on the 10th of February a consensus was reached and RTBU members will now be afforded the required representation.

RTBU Divisional Councillors now have a better understanding of how the policy is to be applied and the union reminds member of their rights to representation and ensure they are upheld as stipulated in the 2010 EA and RailCorp’s Code of Conduct.
