QUBE EBA update

Sep 1, 2014News

The negotiating committee met with QUBE management in June to discuss the latest on the enterprise agreement negotiations.

At the time, the company put forward a wage offer which members have since decided is completely unacceptable.

Members made the decision to take a revised offer back to the company at meetings held across the state in July, and the union reps have since formally written to the company advising management of the revised proposed. Unfortunately, the company rejected it outright then and there,

The parties have now agreed to meet again on 3 September to further progress the negotiations.

  • Nothing much seems to be happening or we are not hearing anything. No pay rises in over 18 months that I’ve been with QUBE. no met ion anywhere of rates for DA ‘ S. Of which iam one with no commitment by the company to accept my previous qualifications even though they are nationally accredited. No future of further training. And very upset and disenchanted members at Junee. About time industrial action was taken.
